this picture can be a tricky distinction between normal and not normal. The dark spots are bruises and are totally normal. WHAT’S not normal is the whiteish tinge to the bottom lip in comparison to the top lip. If something like this was present and becomes painful or gets worse, then we would want you to contact us.
Nope
This picture looks like the lips have been white for a while and not getting enough blood supply because her lips are starting to dry up and the next step will be blistering. whiteness is not normal days after injection.
No way
This is a textbook occlusion. Blue/grey tinge runs right along where her artery is and this mottling is starting to extend up her nose. If any bruising happens above the lip that is this significant, always send us pictures so we can ease your mind. we usually know if someone is going to bruise significantly and warn you before you leave of what to expect.
