The lowdown on

Moxi

PROLONGED SUN EXPOSURE IS TO BE AVOIDED FOR 2 WEEKS BEFORE AND AFTER TREATMENTS.

What is it and what does it do?

MOXI utilizes non-ablative laser energy to create micro spots on the top of the skin to help with texture and tone on the skin.

MOXI is great for ALL skin types and was developed for active individuals looking to correct the initial signs of sun damage and aging by fixing uneven pigmentation and scarring while improving the general tone and texture of skin.

What this treatment targets:

  • prevents aging

  • loose/sagging skin

  • skin tone

  • skin texture

  • enlarged pores

  • pigment

Who can use it?

Anyone & Everyone!

How many treatments are recommended?

for best results we recommend 3-6 treatments, with maintenance/touch ups 2-3 times a year. Depending on specific goals and desired results, you may need more sessions!

Downtime-

Immediately after a MOXI treatment and for the next 48 hours, your skin will feel warm/heated. Swelling is completely normal as well!

It is important to keep skin temps as low as possible during this time so we ask that you avoid saunas, sun exposure, tanning beds and hot tubs.

Your skin will need to be kept moisturized during the total period of healing time which is about 7-10 days.

On day 3, you will notice MENDS (microscopic epidermal necrotic debris) show up on the skin. It will feel like sandpaper and will naturally flake off during the week of healing.

It’s important that we are gentle with the skin during this time as those MENDS heal.

Try not to wear make-up for 24 hours post MOXI.

What’s the process?

You come in at your appointment time for pics and to make sure paperwork/consents are squared away. Then, we’ll get down to the treatment!

  • This 7 min treatment feels like a cat’s tongue on your face. We utilize numbing cream for ultimate comfort and can utilize other modalities from our Zen Menu if necessary!
