Here’s what a typical Kybella appointment is like with us

The Treatment

We’ll snap some photos so we can make sure we are getting to your goals. we will discuss what amount we think would be best for you .

Then we decide how much you want to spend and how much you want to do.

2. Numb

Although Kybella is one of the most comfortable treats we offer here at sweet tox, we’ll make sure we put a topical numbing on ya so you feel even more at ease.

3. Treat

treatment takes less than 5 minutes. We give you ice immediately and most clients are pleasantly surprised on how tolerable everything is.

2. The Swelly

Many of our clients have been fearful of Kybella because of a burning sensation that has been reported by people online.

Here at Sweet tox we do things differently. we’re allll about your comfort! this is why we add numbing to the actual product that takes away that burning sensation you may be afraid of. Since we started adding this to the product, there has been little to no reports of any burning after injection.

Immediately after

Since Kybella is a fluid, you will feel full immediately after your treatment just from the injections. This can sometimes feel weird because you can feel it jiggle and swoosh.

We start the icing process immediately. we suggest you get one of these cutie eyemasks that you can freeze and act as an ice pack that you don’t have to hold.

2 hours

the Swelling is beginning. We want you to ice as much as possible while you are swollen (15 min on, 15 min off to prevent freezer burn).

You will be numb from the numbing and will continue to have numbness for up to the first month or two- don’t worry it’ll all come back as your results come in.

4 hours

It’s happening. The reaction of dissolving the fat is taking place and we have the swell to prove it.

Insert feeling like phat bastard.

3. The Result

3 days

After 3 days, much of the most intense swelling is gone. It’s pretty safe to say you could head to the grocery store with no one even noticing a thang. (Masks also help this cause)!

from this point until our next check in i like to say that the swelling doesn’t feel like a huge nuisance, but simply looks like you ate too much salt the night before or like that feeling of bloat during your time of the month for the next 4-6 weeks.

3 weeks

Swelling has reduced significantly and am close to baseline. There is still numbness and tenderness present but it is barely even noticeable. Continuing to drink water and massage with a jade roller daily.

8 weeks

once you hit your original baseline around 4-6 weeks, the next couple weeks are when a majority of the permanent results really start to show and the rest of the swelling dissipates.

some people take longer than others to rid the swelling, but around 8-10 weeks we are usually close to the permanent result.

At this point we can take pictures to compare and decide if we want to do another treatment (usually recommended).

Since we are born with a certain number of fat cells that expand and contract with our weight, even if you gain or lose weight the cells that we have gotten rid of will remain. Any weight that may be gained will be to the remaining fat cells that were not dissolved.
